Messy and his owner, Oranit Kittragul, reside in Thailand while their neighbor Audi, a Husky, lives across the street. Due to Audi’s owner being away at work during the day, he often spends long hours alone which causes him to feel down and anxious. However, whenever Messy senses Audi’s loneliness, he barks at him which helps to soothe and comfort him. Oranit explained that she frequently asks her dog to check up on Audi when he becomes upset and Messy responds by peeking through the fence and occasionally barking to make Audi stop crying. While the content of their interaction remains a mystery, it is clear that Messy’s presence provides Audi with some much-needed emotional support.
Once, Audi’s owner forgot to lock the gate while heading to work and the furry friend took that as an opportunity to visit Messy for the first time. Amidst their joyous greetings and hugs, Oranit captured the adorable moment in a photo and shared it online. This was their inaugural face-to-face interaction, but their camaraderie was akin to a lifetime of friendship. Despite his excitement, Audi was mindful of his boundaries and knew he couldn’t stay out of his yard for too long. Therefore, after exchanging pleasantries with Messy, he promptly scurried back home. Oranit fondly recollected the heartwarming scene, saying “They hugged each other as if they had known each other forever. It was a beautiful moment to capture on camera.”
As Audi was returned home, the brief but sweet embrace between the two dogs revealed a deeper bond than Oranit had previously thought. Despite the distance that separates them, Messy and Audi’s friendship has flourished. Whenever Audi expresses distress through barks and ᴄʀɪᴇs, Messy responds with barks of his own, calming down Audi and reminding him that he is not alone. Messy, a yellow lab residing in Thailand with his owner Oranit Kittragul, has been an amazing companion to Audi, a Husky living across the street who often feels sad and lonely when his human is away at work.
It would be great if the owners of these two dogs could arrange for them to meet up regularly and socialize in person, considering their close bond. However, it’s comforting to see that Messy’s kind nature towards Audi has resulted in a lovely friendship between the two, even without regular meetups.
