Not long ago, someone shared a heart-breaking story about a cute little dog whose owner passed away, leaving him with no place to call home. To make matters worse, his relatives kicked him out of the house and he had to fend for himself on the streets. Despite his best efforts, he couldn’t find anyone willing to take him in. One day, while running around, he fell into an open gutter and cried out for help but sadly, no one came to his rescue. It’s truly saddening to think that such a sweet and innocent creature could be left to suffer on its own.
Animal Aid Unlimited India received a call from a compassionate man who had stumbled upon Felix, a street dog, in distress. When the rescue team arrived, they found Felix lying in a gutter, crying out in agony.
Animal Aid Unlimited India received a distress call through their hotline reporting a puppy in agony. They immediately responded and discovered the poor dog in an open gutter, crying out in pain.
Initially, it was challenging to identify the issue, but soon we discovered several severe injuries on his leg.
After bringing him to the hospital at Animal Aid, we provided Felix with necessary treatment to alleviate his pain and infection. We also ensured that his wounds were thoroughly cleaned and properly sutured. As a result of our efforts, Felix’s condition showed improvement following two weeks of medical therapy and rest.
Felix’s recovery from the care and attention he received was quick. According to the rescuers, within a short period of two weeks, this once fearful youngster transformed into a loving and affectionate companion.
